Bay Hill Florist OrlandoA dozen roses says I love you. And what does 6 dozen say? I love you so much I can’t help myself I’m going to shout it from the rooftops will you marry me?

Ken made this arrangement today and as always his rose designs are flawless. If you follow the blue arrow, you’ll notice that the stems are arranged in a grid-like pattern. This not only looks nice, it also secures the roses in place.

When we design a dozen roses, we use fern to hold the roses in the best position to show off the blooms, but we can’t do that when there are multiple dozens–there just isn’t room in the vase. It takes a steady, disciplined approach to make a design with multiple dozens.

Another trick is to create a grid pattern at the mouth of the vase with clear florist’s tape.
